Chef Training U.S. may assist candidates in identifying professional training opportunities with participating U.S. restaurants, hotels, hospitality groups, and other eligible host organizations.
Training opportunities are subject to availability and the selection criteria established by each host organization.
Information regarding training locations, compensation, program duration, schedules, and other conditions is based on information provided by the relevant host organization and may be subject to change.
Host organizations independently determine whether to interview or select a candidate.
Where a candidate is selected, the final training conditions must be reviewed and approved by the designated J-1 program sponsor in accordance with applicable program requirements.
J-1 Intern and Trainee programs are structured cultural exchange and professional training programs and should not be understood as ordinary employment or guaranteed job placement.
J-1 Exchange Visitor Programs are administered by organizations designated by the U.S. Department of State.
Chef Training U.S. may coordinate with designated sponsors to facilitate candidate applications and program administration.
However, the designated sponsor is responsible for its regulatory obligations, including determining program eligibility, reviewing and approving training arrangements, issuing Form DS-2019 when appropriate, and performing required program monitoring.

The U.S. Department of State and relevant U.S. government authorities retain responsibility for visa adjudication and admission decisions.
Candidates may be required to accept additional terms, policies, and agreements established by the designated program sponsor.
Certain services offered by Chef Training U.S. may involve program fees, administrative charges, or other applicable costs.
Any fees, payment schedules, cancellation conditions, and refund provisions applicable to a candidate's participation will be communicated through the relevant program documentation, invoice, or separate written service agreement.
Submitting an Initial Screening Form or Full Application Form does not, by itself, create an obligation to pay program fees unless expressly stated and agreed to in separate applicable terms.
Candidates are responsible for reviewing all applicable financial conditions before proceeding with a paid service.
Additional expenses may apply, including government visa application fees, travel expenses, accommodation, and other personal costs.
Unless expressly agreed otherwise in writing, such expenses are the responsibility of the candidate.
Where a separate signed service agreement governs payments, cancellations, refunds, or other program-specific conditions, that agreement will control those matters in the event of a conflict with these general Terms, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
